Support Clients With Central Nervous System Conditions

This online competency-based Micro-credential is designed to introduce learners to the nervous system's anatomy and physiology and how the ageing process affects the nervous system. You will learn how the nervous system coordinates the entire body system to maintain homeostasis. Some common conditions that affect the nervous system include Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Vascular accidents, and seizures. The PSW's role in supporting clients experiencing these conditions will be highlighted throughout.
