Introduction to Product Management
Description
In this course, students will complete its four interrelated modules to facilitate students to begin the Project Management- Graduate Certificate (PMPD) program during any semester (seven-week block). The ten project management knowledge areas have certain linearity of the project initiation and planning sequence. Foundational modules are designed to bridge the gap for the students who begin the program in a non-linear way. Students are advised to complete this course in the
given sequence, starting with Module A (Project Initiation, Scope & Quality Management), proceeding through Modules B (Project Schedule & Cost Management) and C (Project Integration, Resource & Risk Management), and finishing off with Module D (Project Communications & Stakeholder Management). The course is entirely online, asynchronous, self-directed learning. Students are required to finish the course during the first seven weeks of starting the PMPD program.
