Infant and Toddler Care

In this course, students will be prepared to provide care and education to infants and toddlers while considering the issues of the families of very young children. Referencing their understanding of children's growth and development, students will develop competence in planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate environments for infants and toddlers that reflect legislative requirements and standards of high-quality care. The relationship between families and educators will be examined, recognizing the importance of an effective partnership with family members.
