Foundations of Marketing
Description
In this course, students will begin to identify and apply concepts and strategies relating to conSpring/Summer 2022,orary marketing practices. In this introductory course, students will describe and apply marketing concepts in private and public organizations. Students will illustrate the value of the marketing roles to other aspects of an organization including the interdependence of tools, and methods of analysis. The course takes a practical approach to managing the marketing process. Students will discover steps in the marketing process including creating and capturing customer value, organizing and planning for marketing strategy, analyzing the marketing environment, examining customer behaviour, exploring the role of research in marketing, using segmentation, targeting, and positioning in the application of the marketing mix.
