Basic Nursing Skills II
Description
In this course, students will overview basic health problems that individuals with developmental and physical disabilities may experience. Principles of health maintenance will be emphasized to enable students to assist the clients in activities of daily living. Students will become familiar with the legalities and principles of medication administration with an emphasis on commonly administered medications. Skills related to various body systems will be examined and discussed.
