In this course, students will develop the skills relating to science topics as they pertain to power engineering. Students will also perform calculations involving mathematics, elementary mechanics, elementary dynamics, elementary thermodynamics and basic chemical concepts. Calculations performed shall cover both SI and Imperial units as well as conversion from one format to the other. Students will study plant communication methods including diagrams, sketches and proper use of plant written and verbal communication methods.
